Occupied luxury home with dust corridor and protected finishes
Living Through a Build

Your home stays a home, even while we work in it.

Most of our clients stay in residence through major works. That is a choice we earn — with strict protocols, daily discipline and a written code of conduct every member of our team signs.

01

Dust corridors & negative-pressure zones

Work areas are sealed with polythene corridors, zip-doors and HEPA filtration. Negative-pressure fans pull dust out at source rather than letting it migrate into bedrooms and kitchens.

02

Daily clean-down at 4pm

Site is broomed, vacuumed and reset every day before our team leaves. Tools are stored, materials covered, walkways cleared. You walk back into a tidy home each evening.

03

Single point of entry

We agree a single trades entrance, usually a side gate or rear access, so the front of the house and your daily routine remain undisturbed. Boots off, overshoes on at the threshold.

04

Neighbour letters & party-wall liaison

Adjoining owners receive a written introduction with our director's line, working hours and the projected programme. We handle party-wall notices and surveyor coordination as a matter of course.

05

Pet-friendly protocols

Cats and dogs are accounted for in the site plan: gates fitted, doors marked, materials and chemicals locked. Loud works are scheduled around walks and feeding times where possible.

06

Children & school routines

Where children are at home, we phase the noisier trades around naps, drop-offs and exams. Hazardous zones are signed and physically separated.

07

Site security around the clock

Lockable site stores, motion-sensor lighting, alarms on scaffolds and CCTV on larger commissions. Materials worth more than a small car are not left lying in your front garden.

08

Fixed working hours

Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, Saturday 08:00–13:00. No power tools before 09:00 or after 16:30. Sundays and bank holidays are silent unless a defined milestone is agreed in writing.

09

Weekly client meeting

Thirty minutes, same day, same time, every week. Programme, decisions due, photos, costs to date. You always know what's next.

The promise

Quietly, cleanly, on time.

The measure of a luxury contractor is not just the finished work — it is the experience of the months in between. We treat your home as someone's home, because it is.

We can share neighbour-letter templates, dust-control specifications and reference clients who lived through their own builds with us. Ask during your consultation.
